UX Writer / Content Designer (Digital Marketplace)

Location: Diemen/Hybrid

Summary: We are hiring a UX Writer / Content Designer to scale the core app experience for Randstad's growing Digital Marketplace. In this role, you will translate complex product flows into intuitive interface microcopy, establish AI-assisted localization workflows, and integrate SEO best practices to optimize digital performance.

Important Note: This is a UX Copywriting & Content Design Strategy role within a digital product team—it is NOT a marketing content creation or social media management role.

What You Will Achieve

• End-to-End Microcopy Delivery: Write, iterate, and refine clear, user-centric copy for app and web interfaces, including onboarding flows, conversion funnels, forms, and notifications.
• AI-Assisted Localization Workflows: Partner with the Head of Localization to establish and document an interim, AI-assisted translation workflow for new market launches.
• Brand & Tone Governance: Develop UX copy guidelines to scale voice consistency, accessibility standards, and high usability across all digital surfaces.
• Quality Assurance Setup: Establish content QA processes for translated and localized assets to ensure UX integrity across multiple languages without adding manual overhead.

Key Metrics You'll Own

• Conversion & Experience Impact: Develop and work on a KPI framework to track consumer experience, optimize digital product touchpoints, and improve conversion metrics.
• Organic Search Visibility: Integrate SEO best practices into the content creation process to boost organic search visibility and drive traffic across digital properties.

What You Need to Succeed

• Native-Level English: Flawless written and verbal communication with deep empathy for microcopy nuances and user experience.
• Extensive UX Experience: 7 to 10+ years of experience (minimum 8+ years preferred) as a UX Writer, Content Designer, or Product Copywriter on digital products, SaaS tools, or e-commerce marketplaces.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Daily hands-on experience working alongside product, engineering, and UX design squads using tools like Figma and Miro.
• AI & Localization Expertise: Proven experience with AI copywriting tools, prompt engineering, and working with multilingual content architectures or string management tools.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience.
