by creating this position within Randstad Enterprise, we are investing in our ability to scale our technology and processes in a complex portfolio environment. we seek a product expert with a proven track record for strategic thinking, developing a long-term strategy, and acting independently in a complex technology stack. in this data-heavy product management role, you will bridge product vision with deep technical execution—defining core data models, master data architecture, API strategies, and AI quality metrics. Acting as a critical link between business leadership and technical teams, you will ensure our multi-source data is robust, unified, and compliant while delivering high-value platform integrations and reliable AI outputs across our global HR technology stack.

Location: Budapest, Hungary (Hybrid, once a week office attendance and flexible working hours)

What You’ll Do

  • product strategy & vision: define and communicate a compelling product vision and roadmap aligned with business and service goals
  • business & service alignment: ensure software products integrate seamlessly into the overall service ecosystem and contribute to business growth
  • roadmap & prioritization: develop and maintain a clear product roadmap, balancing short-term wins with long-term strategic goals
  • data strategy: work with architects and engineers to define the core data the business runs on, decide which system is the master for which information, and keep those definitions stable as more teams come to depend on them
  • data quality & integration: own the quality of the data on the platform as new source systems are connected - what good looks like, how it is measured, and what happens when it slips
  • API strategy and lifecycle management: define the platform's API capabilities, ensure consistent stability for the teams and AI agents that rely on them, and maintain clear documentation to enable seamless, self-service onboarding
  • quality of AI output: define how the quality of matching and recommendation output is measured, run evaluation cycles with the colleagues who rely on it, and translate the findings into a prioritised backlog
  • requirements & execution: provide clear functional requirements and user stories, including at data and API level, and be the driving force behind the release planning process
  • adoption & cross-functional delivery: work with the teams that build on the platform to drive adoption, and with UX, engineering, support, documentation, training, sales and service teams to bring changes to market
  • data-driven decision making: track the metrics that matter for a platform product - data quality, usage, adoption and output quality - and use them to continuously optimise
  • responsible AI & compliance: work with legal and privacy colleagues to keep human oversight and explainability in AI-assisted decisions, and to make sure personal data is handled in line with GDPR and the EU AI Act.

What You’ll Bring

  • bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college/university
  • 5-6 years in product management, including time on products whose primary users were other teams or systems rather than end customers - platform, data, API or infrastructure products
  • experience with data platforms, master data or system integration - for example bringing data from several source systems into one trusted view
  • hands-on experience defining data models or APIs together with engineering and architecture, and keeping them stable as more teams depend on them
  • experience on an AI or machine learning product, and able to explain how you measured whether the output was any good
  • technically comfortable: API documentation, JSON payloads and enough SQL to check the data yourself
  • proven ability to balance a long-term strategy with short-term delivery, and to hold a position under pressure from senior stakeholders
  • fluent English, and experience working in a complex matrix across multiple geographies
  • nice to have: a background in HR tech, recruitment or staffing; Jira and Productboard; experience prototyping with AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor or Codex
