University Recruitment Specialist

How you will contribute

As a University Recruitment Specialist, you will act as a strategic partner to our client’s Hiring Managers. You will take ownership of the recruitment cycle for various openings, including high-volume and niche positions, ensuring that overall fulfillment goals are met. By executing effective candidate care strategies, you will facilitate a positive experience that reflects our commitment to talent excellence.

Your typical day includes

  • Recruitment Lifecycle Management: Performing requisition intake meetings, screening, assessment, and interview scheduling.
  • Hiring Manager Partnership: Partnering directly with Hiring Managers on all assigned requisitions to understand their specific needs.
  • Candidate Pipeline Control: Managing the candidate pool for each requisition, including internal, ad response, and direct-sourced candidates.
  • Strategic Selection: Using independent judgment to evaluate candidate eligibility based on resumes and professional profiles.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Building a qualified candidate profile and presenting the best slate of candidates to meet client SLAs.
  • Special Projects: Participating in initiatives to enhance service offerings for existing and future clients.

Your background

  • Experience: At least 1+ years of specific University or Campus recruiting experience.
  • Relationship Management: 1+ years of experience working directly with hiring managers.
  • Education: High School Diploma required; a College degree is preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office or Google Office technology.

  • Candidate Care: A strong focus on protecting the candidate experience through positive relationship building.
  • Systems Knowledge: Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday preferred) and CRM systems.
  • Global Collaboration: Ability to partner with multi-location teams to execute quality recruitment strategies.

The base salary range for this position is  $62,400 - $72,800 this role pays hourly and is an RPO contractor position. 

Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. In addition, Randstad offers a comprehensive benefits package, including: medical, prescription, dental, vision, AD&D, and life insurance offerings, short-term disability, and a 401K plan (all benefits are based on eligibility).
