We are looking for a Global Data Scientist to join our team. 

Location: Hungary

Job Purpose

The Global Data Scientist uses big data technologies and advanced analytics to process and analyze large amounts of data, developing, testing, and deploying solutions to derive insights and predictions for improved business decisions. This role requires strong programming skills, an analytical mind with a detailed orientation, and the ability to effectively communicate complex findings to non-technical leaders while working mostly independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for data quality and data inspection
  • Create insightful dashboards and data reports
  • Produce query for data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data enrichment
  • Design, create, test and implement complex predictive ML algorithms
  • Implement advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI techniques to derive business value extracted from internal and external data sets, leveraging cloud-based technology
  • Create robust code to train and deploy predictive models
  • Responsible for developing analytical solutions to solve real business problems
  • Give insights to product-teams through presentation of data-driven recommendations
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development
  • Providing recommendation for improvements
  • Using the data to identify problems and propose solutions
  • Defining and evaluating research hypotheses
  • Working with other teams (UX researchers, stakeholders, data scientists) on strategic initiatives
  • Effectively communicating trends, patterns and predictions using relevant data

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Experience & Technical Skills: 
    • Requires 3-5 years of experience in data science, 
    • including mastery of languages like Python/R, 
    • scientific libraries (Pandas, TensorFlow), 
    • hands-on experience with ML/AI techniques, 
    • SQL proficiency for large datasets, 
    • A/B testing experience, 
    • and familiarity with cloud solutions  such as GCP, Azure or AWS.

  • Professional Skills & Education: 
    • Essential background in MI/BI/Analytics, 
    • a highly analytical and ethically-aware mindset, 
    • excellent communication skills to distill actionable insights for non-technical audiences, 
    • proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced environment, 
    • and a preferred technical degree (Bachelor's/Master's/PhD) in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics or a related technical discipline.
