We are seeking a Business Services Specialist to manage the pre-employment screening and onboarding lifecycle for a global financial client. The successful candidate will act as the vital link between candidates, third-party screening vendors, the client, and internal stakeholders.

This role demands a professional with an unwavering commitment to risk mitigation, compliance, and operational excellence whilst ensuring that every new hire’s onboarding journey is seamless, secure, and fully compliant with both local regulations and global corporate standards.

What you will do:

  • Manage the onboarding journey, serving as the primary point of contact for candidates, the client, and internal delivery teams.
  • Oversight of third-party background check providers to ensure screenings are completed accurately, timely, and up to the client’s standards.
  • Monitor and uphold strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs). 
  • Provide regular, transparent updates to internal hiring managers and HR business partners regarding candidate status and potential bottlenecks.
  • Conduct meticulous reviews of screening reports (criminal checks, credit checks, employment verification) to identify and escalate discrepancies, ensuring 100% compliance with requirements.
  • Maintain real-time accuracy within HRIS systems and internal trackers, ensuring all candidate documentation is handled with the highest level of confidentiality.

What we would like you to have:

Technical Skills & Experience

  • Professional fluency in English, both in writing and verbally is a must.
  • Prior experience with Workday and advanced Microsoft Outlook skills are highly preferred.
  • Experience in pre-employment screening, HR administration is a plus.
