The role

We're looking for a Senior/ Principal Recruitment Consultant to join our Accounting  Finance & Procurement team in Wellington, NZ. This is a high-impact, 360 role with a focus on both permanent and contract recruitment for Accounting, Finance, and Procurement vacancies. This is a crucial role for an ambitious, sales-driven individual, offering immense support within a positive team culture. You'll work a warm desk, building strong relationships to deliver essential talent in the New Zealand market.

Responsibilities

• Nurture and strengthen client relationships to understand and fulfill their recruitment requirements effectively.
• Proactively identify and acquire new clients through strategic business development initiatives.
• Source, assess, and place exceptional candidates in roles that align with their skills and aspirations.
• Design and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
• Facilitate seamless interview and placement processes between candidates and employers, ensuring successful matches.

About you

• A minimum of 3-5 years of recruitment agency experience locally 
• You should be driven by a passion for delivering tailored recruitment solutions that meet clients needs
• A strong enthusiasm for business development is crucial
• As a positive and team-oriented individual, you will possess exceptional interpersonal skills that foster strong relationships.
• You are a high achiever with a competitive spirit, thriving in a fast-paced sales environment where success is measured by results.
• We’re looking for someone who’s shown commitment and stability in their previous roles
• Must have drivers license
