Supplier Relations Manager

The Supplier Relations Manager will work as part of the team led by the Senior Director, Supplier Relations, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for both suppliers and internal stakeholders and will help drive supplier performance through various initiatives. This includes assisting in developing and implementing supplier performance scorecards and metrics to track key performance indicators (SLA / KPIs), analysing supplier performance / capability mapping, and collaborating with suppliers to develop & implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Your responsibilities:

Supplier Relationship Management

• Assist in building strong working relationships with key suppliers, fostering trust and collaboration
• Support regular communication with suppliers, assisting in business reviews to evaluate performance, address concerns, and identify areas for improvement.
• Help develop and implement supplier performance scorecards and metrics to track key performance indicators (SLAs / KPIs)
• Leverage data and criteria to create preferred supplier list, regional and global Preferred Supplier Lists (PSL)
• Assist in the management of global and regional supplier lists (PSLs)
• Support Randstad as a Supplier subject matter expert (SME) for supplier escalations and corrective action plans
• Support supplier capability / skill set mapping to ensure optimized coverage
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between suppliers and internal teams
• Assist in the execution of the agreed Supply Chain strategies in MSP, RPO and SOW.
• Support suppliers in RSR relationship management tool
• Help develop and maintain relationship with key diversity suppliers and liaise with internal RSR workgroups associated with diverse supplier support
• SME in RSR supplier scorecarding metrics, reporting and usage
• SME in Vendor Vault, the RSR SRM system of record

External Market

• Stay informed about market trends and best practices in recruitment outsourcing supplier management
• Attend key industry supplier events (e.g. CWS) and workshops to foster engagement and knowledge sharing
• Assist in identifying and sourcing new suppliers (and innovative ways of working) to meet evolving business needs
• Support market research and analysis to benchmark supplier pricing and service offerings

The Requirements:

• BS/BA in a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7 - 10 years of experience in the staffing industry.
• Proven experience in MSP and SOW supplier relationship management.
• A strong supplier focus, coupled with exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office tools ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• A process-oriented mindset and a deep understanding of MSA and SOW contract language, data analytics, and supplier relationship dynamics including commercial, legal, and operational constructs.
