About the role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a technical recruiter with a passion for the energy sector to join our Engineering and Construction division. This role is a key position that will  focus on the significant growth in renewable energy while maintaining strong ties to existing clients. You will manage a high-volume desk, connecting with highly technical engineering professionals.

What you'll be doing:

• Manage a high-volume desk, recruiting for both temporary and permanent roles Recruit for technical engineering roles, including mechanical and electrical engineers.
• Engage in proactive business development and manage key client accounts. 
• Leverage your strong technical understanding to source niche, high-calibre candidates.
• Travel to client sites to maintain strong relationships and identify new business opportunities.

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant with a strong background in technical recruitment, specifically within mechanical and electrical engineering.
• Direct experience in the renewables, power, or energy sectors is highly desirable.
• A thick-skinned, resilient, and independent individual who can manage client demands. 
• Valid Driver's License: A must-have for client site visits. You'll need your own car and can claim kilometers.
