About the role

Are you a high-energy, results-driven individual with a knack for business development? We're looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our Industrial team within the public sector in our Randstad Essendon office.

You will be recruiting for a variety of industrial roles, including gardeners, forklift operators, landscapers, and maintenance workers. This is a fast-paced role where your ability to proactively generate new business will be key to your success.

What you'll be doing:

• Proactively drive business development by identifying and bringing on new clients.
• Build strong client relationships through regular in-person engagement.
• Manage the full recruitment process, which includes sourcing, assessing and placing exceptional candidates in roles that align with their skills and aspirations.
• Work within a high-volume recruitment environment, consistently sourcing and placing blue-collar talent.

What we're looking for:

• Proven sales experience—if you've worked in car sales or a similar target-driven environment, you'll be a great fit.
• Strong networking skills and a hunter mentality.
• As a positive and team-oriented individual, you will possess exceptional interpersonal skills that foster strong relationships.
• A valid Australian driver's license.
