Principal Recruitment Specialist – Temporary and Permanent

Randstad HR Partners is seeking an experienced Principal Recruitment Specialist to manage temporary and permanent recruitment activity and build strong relationships with clients and candidates.

About the role

You will manage recruitment assignments from initial client discussions through to placement, while contributing to the growth and performance of the specialist desk.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
• Identify client workforce needs and recommend suitable recruitment solutions.
• Source, interview and assess candidates for temporary and permanent roles.
• Match candidates to vacancies and coordinate the recruitment and placement process.
• Negotiate placement terms and manage offers and placements.
• Maintain accurate candidate, client and placement records.
• Monitor recruitment activity, billing and performance against agreed targets.
• Provide ongoing support to clients and candidates throughout assignments.

About you

• A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, commerce or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience in recruitment, including temporary and permanent placements.
• Strong client relationship, communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to source and assess candidates using a range of recruitment methods.
• Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments.
• A track record of working toward recruitment or billing targets.
