Supplier Strategy Manager (contract)
***This is a three month contract role***
how you will contribute
- Act as a key strategic partner delivering best-in-class supplier management services for assigned MSP and Statement of Work (SoW) programs.
- Develop, execute, and oversee supply chain strategies to connect client needs with optimal supplier capabilities across contingent labor and permanent hiring.
- Lead supplier tenders, negotiate cost-effective rates, and drive transformational cost optimization initiatives.
- Drive program implementations, supplier contract transitions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
your typical day includes
- Collaborating with Contracts Managers to negotiate terms and finalize supplier agreements.
- Overseeing supplier performance via dashboards, scorecards, and regular business reviews.
- Engaging with Tier 1 providers and building strategic relationships with key agency and SoW suppliers.
- Analyzing client skill profiles, delivery quality, timeliness, and operational metrics to address evolving talent needs.
- Consulting with RSR Delivery teams to resolve operational challenges and optimize the supplier base.
your responsibilities include
- Supply Chain Strategy: Advising on best practices, building client trust, and co-developing supply chain strategies.
- Supplier Negotiation & Performance: Executing tender processes, establishing performance scorecards, and aligning contract terms with market conditions.
- Implementation & Transition: Managing supplier roadmap deliverables during new program rollouts, including transitioning contractual relationships to RSR.
- Supplier Identification & Analysis: Analyzing market data to propose alternative recruitment solutions and guide future client requirements.
your background
- BS/BA in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7–10 years of experience in the staffing industry.
- Proven experience in global MSP and SoW supplier management.
- Deep expertise in MSA and SoW contract language, commercial constructs, and supplier dynamics.
- Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Competitive salary - In US base salary range is $96,800 - $121,000. This is a W2 hourly contract position.
