Enablement Content Specialist

The Role in One Sentence

You are the behind-the-scenes engine that turns enablement strategy into polished, published, measurable content — across every format and channel our global team needs to reach.

What This Role Is

This is where instructional design meets corporate communications meets modern content creation. You don't just write — you build, produce, manage, and optimize the content ecosystem that makes enablement land with real humans at scale.

You'll work alongside Enablement Partners who own the strategy, the stakeholder relationships, and the consulting. Your job is to take what they're driving and make it tangible—the email that gets opened, the one-pager that gets saved, the video that gets watched, the training that actually changes behavior, the channel that people check because it's worth their time.

What You'll Do

Content Development & Production

  • Draft, edit, and produce communications (e.g., emails, leader briefs, system notifications, newsletters, announcements)
  • Develop learning and enablement content (e.g., job aids, guides, toolkits, FAQs, one-pagers, decks)
  • Create and edit video/multimedia content (e.g., script, shoot/produce, edit — ranging from quick turnaround/light production to high quality, polished assets depending on the need.)
  • Design facilitation materials for live sessions and workshops
  • Synthesize raw information and Subject Matter Expertise  into clear, structured, audience-ready content

Channel & Content Management

  • Own the day-to-day management of our internal content channels and the stakeholder partnerships/relationships behind them (e.g., SharePoint, Webex spaces, email distribution, video and learning content platforms)
  • Drive content through necessary approval workflows to ensure accuracy, proper sequencing, and timely distribution. Manage content assets — organize, tag, archive, keep things findable and current
  • Monitor channel health and flag what's working vs. what's noise

Execution Support

  • Support Enablement Partners in executing comms and enablement plans across initiatives
  • Produce and publish content on deadline — this role thrives on rhythm and reliability
  • Manage multiple deadlines
  • Coordinate with creative, brand, and platform teams to ensure visual and governance alignment
  • QA everything — fact-check, proof, brand-check, accessibility-check before it goes live

What You Bring

Must-haves:

  • Versatile Writing Skills — you can easily shift between writing formal compliance messaging, conversational leadership emails, and punchy Webex message without sacrificing quality or consistency.
  • Experience producing learning/enablement content (instructional design, job aids, facilitator guides — not just comms)
  • 1 to 5 years content creation experience
  • Video content creation skills — comfortable with end-to-end production --  scripting, recording, light editing, captioning -- and can scale your approach from lean, quick turnaround to more polished assets.
  • Channel management experience — you've owned an internal content ecosystem before and kept it running clean
  • Editorial discipline — you are good at keeping projects on track, hold firm on deadlines, and advocate for quality by pushing back when content isn't ready for distribution
  • Ability to synthesize — you take long, complex, jargon-heavy inputs and turn them into clear, short, human content
  • Comfort with AI tools — you use AI to accelerate your work (drafting, editing, formatting, ideation)

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience in HR, talent acquisition, or people-function communications
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, Webex, Vidcast, or similar enterprise platforms
  • Graphic design fundamentals (enough to make a one-pager look good without a designer)
  • Background in journalism, content marketing, or multimedia storytelling
  • Experience supporting global teams across time zones

What Success Looks Like at 90 Days

  • Enablement Partners trust you to take a brief and come back with content that's 90% ready on first pass
  • You've produced and shipped content across at least 3 formats (written, visual, video) independently
  • The editorial calendar is running — nothing goes out unplanned, nothing gets lost
  • You've established a rhythm that makes the team faster, not slower

Why This Role Matters

Our team drives transformation for a global organization of 600+ talent acquisition and mobility professionals. The strategies are strong. The gap is execution capacity — someone who can take what we're building and make it real, visible, and consistent across every channel, every week. That's you.
