Job Overview

Job Summary

The Regional Account Director is responsible for leading a regional team across multiple countries (APAC) to deliver an advisory talent acquisition service. This includes incorporating market intelligence, effective supplier management, creative sourcing strategies for direct supply models, and problem resolution. The role also involves managing the commercial performance of the account and coaching team members for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

Client Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.

  • Proactively engage to understand client vision and strategy, and develop account roadmaps.

  • Identify process improvement areas and lead Lean Sigma reviews.

  • Create and deliver client Monthly Business Reviews and Quarterly Talent Advisory Meetings.

Operations Management

  • Work with the implementation team to develop customized reporting.

  • Establish and maintain effective benchmarking and control of bill rates.

  • Resolve escalated commercial and contractual issues.

  • Ensure compliance with internal processes, review operational risk registers, and lead change management initiatives.

Supplier Management

  • Manage supplier performance metrics and work with suppliers on improvements.

  • Conduct quarterly performance review coaching sessions.

  • Review supplier contract compliance and manage the onboarding process.

People Management

  • Conduct quarterly performance reviews and create individual development plans.

  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and support learning and development.

  • Lead talent identification initiatives.

  • Hold regular team meetings to review performance, update on client initiatives, and share company news.

Change Management

  • Drive effective change management for new technologies, Lean Sigma initiatives, and talent advisory transitions.

Financial Performance Management

  • Manage financial performance against budget and mitigate financial penalties.

  • Ensure a thorough understanding of contracts to minimize risk and ensure accurate invoicing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

  • Experience in recruitment, ideally within the MSP/BPO model.

  • Proven ability to lead a functional area and make critical business decisions.

  • Strong problem-solving, coaching, and conceptual skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with high-level decision-makers.

  • Experience within the Science-related industry is highly advantageous.
