The Global Director of Technology Implementation is a strategic leader responsible for the overarching management and evolution of global technology initiatives within Randstad Sourceright as part of the SIMS team. This role transcends operational management to provide visionary direction and thought leadership. You will act as the ultimate design authority, ensuring that large-scale technology deployments align with broader business strategies and deliver transformative solutions across multiple geographies. Regional and/or global travel may be required.

Strategic Implementation Management Services (SIMS) is the strategic engine responsible for architecting, building, and delivering new client programs and expansions. Our mission is to partner with clients and Randstad Enterprise from the sales process to hyper care to ensure robust execution. SIMS focuses exclusively on new business, expansions, and strategic upgrades.

 

key responsibilities and scope

1. Strategic Leadership & Design Authority

  • Visionary Direction: Define and drive the global technology implementation strategy to meet market demands and organizational goals.
  • Design Authority: Serve as the final design authority for technology workstream delivery, ensuring innovative and effective architectural solutions.
  • Global Influence: Maintain an authoritative presence in global forums, influencing both internal and external stakeholders to drive organizational excellence.
  • Tech SLT Contribution: Provide leadership within the Technology Enterprise Senior Leadership Team (Tech SLT) to shape long-term strategic planning.

2. Operational Excellence & Execution

  • Global Project Oversight: Provide strategic oversight for technology projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • High-Stakes Escalation: Act as the ultimate escalation point for global technology implementation issues.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure all implementations adhere to global standards, best practices, and rigorous compliance requirements.
  • Business Growth: Identify and realize new opportunities to drive business growth through technological innovation.

3. Team Leadership & Innovation

  • Squad Alignment: Guide Senior Technology Leads and Technology Leads in managing high-performance "Technology Squads" to execute seamless enterprise-wide migrations.
  • Culture of Excellence: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and "Technical Product Ownership" within global teams.
  • Talent Development: Mentor and develop a high-performing global team, ensuring professional growth and effective knowledge sharing.
  • Consultative Excellence: Upskill teams in consultative communication and Solution-First methodologies to ensure every client interaction reflects executive-level trusted advisory.
  • Emerging Tech: Identify and integrate emerging technologies into the strategic roadmap to maintain a competitive edge.

 

knowledge and competencies

  • Thought Leadership: History of speaking engagements and published works in technology and professional services.
  • Matrix Mastery: Demonstrated success leading cross-functional, multicultural teams in complex, high-stakes matrix environments.
  • Technical Mastery: Deep understanding of technology workstream delivery and leading industry technologies including VMS (SAP Fieldglass, Beeline), CRM, and ATS platforms.
  • Advanced University/Post Graduate Degree or equivalent intellectual capability
  • Extensive global leadership experience in MSP or RPO businesses, with a proven track record in large-scale technology implementations (VMS, CRM, ATS)
