Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Developer

how you will contribute

  • As an SFMC Developer, you will be the technical engine behind our global engagement strategies. You won’t just build emails; you’ll architect meaningful, automated connections that bridge the gap between our specialized talent and world-class clients. By leveraging the full power of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud suite, you ensure that every journey we create is as personal as it is impactful.

your typical day includes

  • Architecting Journeys: Designing and maintaining sophisticated, automated marketing journeys using Journey Builder and Automation Studio.
  • Technical Execution: Writing clean HTML and advanced AMPscript to bring dynamic, highly personalized content to life.
  • Data Orchestration: Managing and segmenting complex audience data via SQL queries, Data Extensions, and APIs to ensure the right message reaches the right person.
  • Quality Assurance: Rigorously testing across various ISPs and devices to ensure a seamless and accessible experience for every recipient.

your responsibilities include

  • Building and maintaining integrated marketing journeys that incorporate Randstad brand standards and industry best practices.
  • Troubleshooting technical campaign issues, from template rendering to subscriber lookup and accessibility.
  • Updating content and enabling dynamic personalization using SFMC scripting languages and advanced tools.
  • Consulting as an internal expert, providing guidance and training to specialists on deployment best practices.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to analyze business needs and translate them into functional technical specifications and documentation.
  • Maintaining and developing Apex classes, Visualforce pages, and AMPscript coding.

your background

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience specifically within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud ecosystem.
  • Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in HTML, AMPscript, and SQL; experience with Apex and Visualforce is highly valued.
  • Campaign Automation: Proven track record in setting up triggered sends, MobileConnect, and Advertising Studio.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CCPA compliance to protect our talent and clients.
  • Certified Professional: You hold Salesforce Certifications as an MC Email Specialist and MC Developer.
