About the role

We are looking for a motivated Recruitment Consultant to join our Hobart Business Support team. Specialising in our Public Sector space, you will act as the vital link between Tasmania’s top talent and key Government departments at Local, State and Federal levels. From kick-starting someone’s career in an entry-level role to placing seasoned professionals, you’ll have a front-row seat to making a tangible difference in our community.

What you'll be doing:

• Proactively reaching out to new clients to introduce Randstad’s services.
• Building, growing and nurturing your own client accounts.
• Screening, interviewing, and matching candidates to open roles.
• Consulting candidates and clients on the recruitment process.
• Updating the internal system with candidate and client information.

What we're looking for:

• You’re a "People Person": you can talk to anyone and genuinely enjoy helping people.
• You’ve got a Sales drive: Maybe you’ve worked in retail, hospitality, or real estate? If you love the thrill of "the win," you’ll love this.
• You’re High Energy: You thrive when your to-do list is full and the office is buzzing.
• You have a Driver’s Licence: To head out and meet your clients face-to-face!
