The mission of the business intelligence team is to create a data-driven culture which empowers leaders to integrate data into daily decisions and strategic planning. Position Objective

The purpose of this role is to partner with the Regional and global BI customers within RSR (who can include but not limited to Data engineering, BI Support Teams, Operational Teams, Internal teams and RSR clients) and provide business solutions through data.

This position has operational and technical responsibility for reporting, analytics, and visualization dashboards across all operating companies within RSR. This position will develop processes and strategies to consolidate, automate, and improve reporting and dashboards for external clients and internal stakeholders.

As a Business Intelligence Partner you will be responsible for overseeing the end to end delivery of regional and global account and client BI reporting. This will include working with data engineering to provide usable datasets, create dashboards with meaningful insights & visualizations within our BI solution (DOMO) and ongoing communication and partnering with the ‘BI consumers’. The key to this is as a Business Intelligence Partner you will be a commercial and operational expert with the ability to translate data into insights. You will use this to mitigate risk, find operational and revenue generating opportunities and provide business solutions. 

Position Summary

As a Business intelligence Team Lead, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the BI service area with which you are aligned. This includes day-to-day management of all the BI solutions and prioritizing the workload within the area including the BI team members' workload. You will also be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of BI solutions. This will include working with internal and external teams to ensure we are delivering a quality service which is adding value to our consumers.

Consulting & Client Partnership 

  • Leverage data analytics to extract actionable insights from client and internal data, helping to drive strategic business decisions and uncover revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Analyze client data to present leadership with potential approaches for service delivery improvement and value-added initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the client, operations teams, and team members, translating business needs into technical requirements.
  • Use expertise in data visualization and storytelling to effectively communicate complex insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Gather feedback from users to iterate and improve dashboards and data sources.
  • Provide training and support to end users on dashboard usage and interpretation.

 

Management 

  • Responsible for the direct line management of analytics professional(s). Where responsibilities include day to day management, work prioritization, upskilling and coaching, goal setting and development planning and performance management.
  • Assist the regional leaders with shaping the future BI roadmap
  • Responsible for delivering change management projects
  • Achieving key objectives for the area and delivering best in class solutions
  • Improve existing processes and develop new better ways of working

Hands-on BI Development 

  • Design and build insightful, scalable, and actionable visualizations
  • Translate business questions into measurable metrics and data requirements.
  • Identify relevant data sources (internal/external) needed for analysis.
  • Design intuitive, actionable dashboards using best practices in data visualization.
  • Build dashboards that are scalable, maintainable, and tailored to user needs.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability in all dashboards and data sources.
  • Implement validation checks and monitor data pipelines for issues.
  • Document data sources, dashboard logic, and key metrics for transparency and reproducibility.
  • Stay updated on new tools, technologies, and best practices in data analytics and visualization.

Required Experience:  

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 6+ years experience in data analytics or data engineering
  • 2+ years’ using Tableau in an industry setting
  • Proficiency with SQL, writing complex read statements which may include the use of CTEs, window functions, and joins across time-bound partitions
  • Project Management and/or process improvement experience
  • Experience delivering content to clients/end users in accordance with development best practices, and with consideration for functional performance and ease of use

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in the recruitment industry (e.g. MSP/RPO) and/or B2B marketing
  • Ability to turn ambiguous information and unstructured challenges into insights, plans and recommendations in a constantly evolving environment.
  • Ability to mine data, improve and develop new data sources (including attribution) and translate data into actionable recommendations and compelling stories.

The base salary range for this position is $95,465 - $120,000.

Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Based on eligibility, a successful candidate’s total compensation may include a variable pay plan including bonus(es) and/or commission(s). In setting compensation, Randstad complies with all local wage and hour laws and while the pay range listed above is an annual amount, non-exempt employees will be paid hourly and therefore receive the hourly equivalent.
